Overview

Step into the setting where one of the most consequential political eras in transatlantic history unfolded. This immersive short program takes place at Wroxton Abbey, the ancestral home of Prime Minister Lord North, whose government presided over the American Revolution. A unique setting with a direct connection to the era, the Abbey offers an evocative base for examining the transatlantic story that continues to shape both nations.

A painting of an 18th-century aristocrat, Lord North, seated, wearing ornate clothing with gold embroidery, a brown coat, white lace cuffs, and a blue sash, with a red curtain in the background.
Wroxton Abbey, a large historic abbey with stone walls, multiple towers, and large windows, set against a partly cloudy sky.
